The working principle of the natural gas pressure regulating skid is mainly to reduce the pressure of high-pressure natural gas step by step and other processes, such as safety control, metering, odorization, etc., so that the gas pressure reaches the pressure that meets the specification requirements, thereby safely and stably transporting it to the pipeline.
Its working process usually includes the following steps:
Unloading system. High-pressure natural gas enters the pressure regulating skid device through the unloading system.
Pressure regulating heat exchange system. High-pressure natural gas passes through the heat exchanger in the pressure-regulating heat exchange system for heat exchange to prevent the temperature from being too low. Then the pressure is adjusted step by step through the pressure regulator, which may include one, two or even three levels of pressure regulation to reduce the pressure to an appropriate level (such as 0.2~0.4MPa).
Flow metering system. The pressure-regulated natural gas enters the flow metering system to ensure that the flow meets the requirements.
Control System. The entire process is monitored and regulated by a central control system to ensure the stability of pressure and flow.
Security system. It includes safety shut-off valves and self-operated regulating valves, which are used to cut off the air source when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value or other abnormal conditions occur to ensure safety.
Heating system. If ambient temperatures are too low, the natural gas may also need to be reheated to ensure safe and stable delivery to the pipeline.
The working principle of the natural gas pressure regulating skid not only involves pressure regulation, but also includes temperature control, flow measurement and safety control to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the natural gas network.
