Equipment to adjust gas pressure and maintain stability

The pressure regulating box refers to placing the pressure regulating device in a special box, located near the building, and is responsible for regulating the air pressure.

The basic function of the pressure regulating box is to reduce the higher pressure gas to the pressure required by the user and maintain stability.

The working principle of the pressure regulator: Gas enters the pressure regulating chamber from the inlet. When the valve port is opened, the gas enters the pressure reduction stage through the valve port, and the gas pressure is controlled within the range required by the user.

The working process of decompression: the inlet pressure enters the lower chamber of the main skin membrane. The lower chamber is balanced by spring pressure. The equilibrium position determines the opening of the valve port, thereby allowing a certain amount of gas flow. When the inlet pressure of the regulator drops instantaneously during operation (that is, when the flow rate needs to increase), the force acting on the main membrane decreases, and the main membrane drops, driving the valve stem to increase the valve opening, thereby increasing the flow rate, and the spring A new balance is formed with the outlet pressure. On the contrary, when the inlet pressure of the regulator rises instantaneously (that is, when the flow rate needs to be reduced), the force acting on the main membrane increases, and the main membrane rises, driving the valve stem to reduce the valve opening, thereby reducing the flow rate and reducing the valve opening. Keep the outlet pressure unchanged. If you need to change the outlet pressure of the pressure regulator, you need to rotate the pressure setting screw of the pilot regulator. Turn it in clockwise to increase the pressure, and turn it out counterclockwise to reduce the pressure. If the pressure value is significantly different from the original value, , the pilot adjusting spring should be replaced (generally, when the pressure regulating box leaves the factory, the outlet pressure has been set according to user requirements, please do not adjust it at will unless there are special circumstances).

When an equipment failure causes the outlet pressure to continue to rise and reach a predetermined value, the cut-off mechanism will act, cut off the inlet air source, and stop supplying air to the pressure regulator. If the outlet section is affected by external factors such as temperature rise, causing the outlet pressure to reach a certain value. , the relief mechanism operates to stabilize the outlet pressure at the predetermined value. If you want to restore ventilation, you must slowly open the shut-off valve manually after troubleshooting.
