The biological desulfurization process has the advantages of high desulfurization efficiency, low treatment cost, stable operation, high degree of automation, and less secondary pollution.
The removal rate of biological desulfurization can reach more than 99%, which is incomparable to the general double-alkali wet desulfurization. And because it uses biological metabolism to process desulfurization, it does not require the large use of chemicals like wet desulfurization, so the cost of desulfurization is lower than that of general wet desulfurization. 1/3-1/5 of the desulfurization cost.

Description of process equipment used
(1) Scrubber
Due to the characteristics of the alkaline washing liquid, the material of the washing tower is FRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic). The number of washing towers: 1; material: FRP, internal filling, spraying and defoaming devices.
(2) Regeneration reactor
The washing liquid after absorbing hydrogen sulfide in the washing tower is converted into elemental sulfur by controlling the oxidation process in the biological regeneration reactor.
(3) Plate heat exchanger
Due to climate change and the release of biological metabolic energy, the temperature in the bioregeneration reactor may exceed the temperature that the bacteria can withstand. Plate heat exchangers need to be used for cooling, and circulating water can be used for cooling water.
(4) Precipitator
The function of the precipitator is to separate sulfur elements and facilitate the sulfur balance of the washing liquid. The sulfur sludge will be discharged directly from the sulfur sludge pump to the aerobic pool or wastewater pool.
(5) Washing pump
Circulation spray pumps for biological washing liquid, 1 for use and 1 for standby, 2 units in total.
(6) Blower
Its function is to provide oxygen needed for biological regeneration. It adopts frequency conversion control, 1 in use and 1 in standby, 2 units
(7) Others
Required configurations: nutrient solution metering pump, alkali metering pump, sulfur sludge pump, etc. are all considered for backup.
